Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms.

We may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When material changes are made, we will notify users through the App, our website, email, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

The Service is designed and operated exclusively for users located in Pakistan. By using the Service, you represent that you are located in Pakistan at the time of registration and use. We do not represent that the Service is appropriate, legally permitted, or available in any other country, and we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access from outside Pakistan.

To use Reshta.pk, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are legally eligible to marry under the laws applicable to you.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• The information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful.
• You have not been convicted of offenses involving violence, sexual misconduct, harassment, financial fraud, or similar serious criminal conduct.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.

Before your profile is made visible to other users, it must be verified. To complete verification, you are required to book and attend a one-on-one online video verification session (e.g., video call) with an authorized Reshta verification agent, who will review your identity, photographs, and the information you have provided.

Once your profile has successfully passed this verification process, it is locked: you will only be able to edit limited basic details afterward, and you will not be able to change the core information and photographs that were reviewed during verification. This is intended to prevent a verified profile from later being altered into a fake or misleading one. If you need to update information that falls outside what can be edited directly, you may be required to contact us or undergo re-verification.

Reshta.pk is a matchmaking platform designed to help eligible, verified individuals discover compatible matches and request introductions. The platform also offers optional concierge-assisted meetup services. The process generally works as follows:

• A user purchases one or more meetup requests.
• The user sends a meetup request to another verified user through the App.
• The receiving user may freely accept or decline the request.
• If the request is accepted, Reshta assigns an authorized Reshta Concierge to assist both users with coordinating an in-person meetup.
• The concierge facilitates logistical coordination of the meetup (such as scheduling and venue coordination) and does not perform additional safety vetting, chaperoning, or endorsement of either user beyond the verification described in Section 4.
• Contact information and relevant meeting details are shared with both users only after both users have mutually agreed to proceed.
• If the receiving user declines the request, no contact information is shared, no concierge is assigned, and the meetup request is returned to the requesting user for future use.

Purchasing a meetup request does not guarantee that another user will accept the request, that a meeting will occur, or that any relationship or marriage will result.

Reshta.pk verifies profiles as described in Section 4, but we do not perform exhaustive criminal, financial, or professional background checks beyond that verification process unless expressly stated. You are solely responsible for:

• Conducting your own additional due diligence.
• Verifying information shared by other users.
• Seeking family or personal references where appropriate.
• Exercising good judgment before sharing personal information.
• Exercising caution when meeting another user offline.

If you encounter a profile you believe is fake, misleading, or inappropriate despite verification, or if another user behaves inappropriately during a meetup or any interaction facilitated through the Service, you may report it through the in-app reporting option or by contacting us at the support email.

We review reports and may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate the reported user's account, remove content, or take other appropriate action. We aim to review reports promptly, though response times may vary depending on the nature of the report.

To use certain features, you must register an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your information updated, subject to the profile lock described in Section 4.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Create fake or misleading profiles, or attempt to circumvent the verification process.
• Impersonate another individual.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or exploit other users, including during a verification call or meetup.
• Request or solicit money from users.
• Upload illegal, offensive, sexually explicit, or harmful content.
• Upload malicious software or interfere with platform security.
• Scrape, crawl, copy, or extract platform data using automated tools.
• Circumvent platform security or attempt unauthorized access.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

Certain services offered through Reshta.pk require payment before they can be used. These services may include concierge-assisted meetup requests. Prices are displayed before payment.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading photographs, profile information, biographies, and other content, you grant Reshta.pk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and process that content solely for operating, maintaining, improving, promoting, and securing the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload such content.

All software, trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, databases, and other content provided by Reshta.pk are owned by or licensed to Reshta.pk and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that:

• violate these Terms;
• contain false or misleading information;
• engage in fraud or abuse;
• create safety risks for other users; or
• misuse the Service.

Termination may occur with or without prior notice where permitted by law. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the data retention and deletion provisions described there.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reshta.pk disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee: the authenticity of every profile, notwithstanding our verification process; successful matches; acceptance of meetup requests; successful meetings; compatibility between users; or marriage or long-term relationships.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reshta.pk, its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, representatives, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from: your use of or inability to use the Service; user-generated content; interactions between users; rejected meetup requests; offline meetings or relationships; financial losses; emotional distress; or any acts or omissions of other users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Subject to the foregoing, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Users assume full responsibility for decisions made during or after introductions facilitated through the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reshta.pk, its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, representatives, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or your conduct in connection with the Service, including during any verification call or meetup.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reshta.pk regarding the Service.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
• Notices: We may provide notices to you via the App, email, or our website.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
